“I’m comfortable in…” – Leandro Trossard has revealed his preferred position in the Arsenal squad
Leandro Trossard, an Arsenal forward, has stated that he prefers to play behind the main striker. However, he is also capable of playing as a winger.
In recent games, he has also played as the main striker. Trossard also had three assists while playing as the main striker against Fulham.
In an interview, Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard revealed his preferred position.
He has stated that he prefers to play in support of the primary striker. Martin Odegaard is currently the leading candidate for the position.
Trossard, on the other hand, plays a main striker because Eddie Nketiah is injured and only has Gabriel Jesus in the squad.
Arsenal’s new January signing has also stated that he has no problem playing multiple positions.
He further said: “I like to be in the pocket behind the striker. On the wings, I can explore myself as well.
“I’m comfortable in either of those positions but if I were to choose, behind the striker – but it all depends on the system.”
🔴⚪ Leandro Trossard on Gabriel Jesus: “He is a top player and he has contributed a lot already for #Arsenal. You can see his presence. He makes other players better as well. We need everyone and it’s great to have him back.”

After Gabriel Jesus regains full fitness, the Belgian international could return to the bench.
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has also stated that in his current team, he prefers Trossard to Kevin De Bruyne.
He has also stated that Kevin De Bruyne’s performances are lacking. As a result, he currently prefers Trossard.
He also stated that Trossard has assisted Arsenal in managing games without Gabriel Jesus.
On the Arsenal winger, the Liverpool legend added: “Right now he’s number one. There’s nobody [better].
“Normally we would say Kevin De Bruyne is the best midfield player, not just in the Premier League but the world, but something isn’t quite right.”
As a result, it is clear that Brighton made the biggest mistake in selling him for only 26 million pounds.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, on the other hand, has stated that Trossard is now a vital member of the team.
As a result, he could start the next game against Sporting in the second leg of the Europa League at home.
