TRANSFER SHOCK: TOP Arsenal and Man United target nears Wolves switch in an unprecedented swap
Barcelona and Wolves have struck a ‘complete agreement’ on a deal that would see Ansu Fati and Ruben Neves swap positions.
The Portugal midfielder has been one of Wolves’ better buys in the last decade, having joined from FC Porto in a surprise £15.8 million deal in 2017.
He has 252 appearances and 30 goals in six seasons with the club, several of which have been exceptional.
But he has never hidden his desire to play at a higher level, and curiosity about his future has always been present.

Neves has recently been linked with moves to Manchester United and Arsenal.
And, with the 26-year-old stating his desire to play Champions League football last week, it appears he will soon have that opportunity.
Sport reports that a deal has been struck to bring Neves to Barcelona this summer.
He is expected to sign a four-year contract with the Blaugrana until the summer of 2027.
Agent Jorge Mendes will send another of his customers, Fati, in the opposite direction to help finance the transaction.
The clever winger has struggled at Barcelona this season and will most likely leave. As a result, Sport says Fati is considering a move to Molineux.
Mendes is also setting up another Barcelona star for Wolves as part of the deal.
They are also said to be interested in signing Moroccan playmaker Abde Ezzalzouli and undesirable full-back Sergino Dest.
